Tudur Owen

A bilingual comedy writer & performer based in Wales, Tudur has 10 years experience of performing stand up in both English and his first language – Welsh.

He has written, presented and performed numerous television and radio shows culminating in his recent BAFTA Wales winning comedy series for S4C “The PC Leslie Wynne Show”. Tudur was also one of the winners of the BBC THREE comedy writing competition The Last Laugh in 2005.

He started cracking gags while a floor manager at the Barcud Studios in Caernarfon; in order to warm up the audiences that arrived for TV recordings. Since then he's gone from strength to strength as a stand-up, and has developed a loyal following, both inside and outside Wales. He was praised for his one-man show at the Edinburgh fringe last year, and as well as being an outstanding comic, he's also a very gifted gag writer. He can be seen on his irreverent chat show, 'Tudur Owen o'r Doc' on S4C.
